Who Are We?

Our Vision & Mission    Vision:  Proclaiming the Three Angel’s Messages to Lynnwood and the World Mission:  Every disciple a missionary, every family an outpost!   The Lynnwood Seventh-day Adventist church was born with the desire of several families to share the Three Angels’ Message of Revelation 14 with our neighbors in the Lynnwood community. After meeting weekly to pray and study together for many months, in the fall of 2006 we held a prophecy seminar in Edmonds Community College and began worshiping together each Sabbath. Shortly thereafter, we began our regular Sabbath meetings on Saturday mornings.

Leadership Team: Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ. Our Church is lay-led (Elder:  Edgar Yoshihara) under the supervision of Dr. Bob Moore, pastor for the Shoreline and Lynnwood Seventh Day Adventist Churches .

Bob and Joyce Moore.

Dr. Moore and Joyce started as a lay pastor team in the mid-eighties. Their love for Christ and desire to assist in completing the Gospel commission compelled them into full-time ministry. They have been ministering full-time for over 20 years in the Washington Conference. They have been married for over 35 years and have three adult children and several grandchildren. Pastor Moore has traveled extensively and preached the gospel on several continents and has lead 1000s to Christ via the watery grave of baptism. His passion to see Christ come in our lifetime has ignited his enthusiasm for revival and reformation. His ministry focus is to prepare a people to meet The Lord and to stand before worlds unfallen and a rebellious planet as a bright example of what the grace of God can do for sinners.
